Spaying and neutring your pet play an important role in controlling pet overpopulation. research has shown that spayed and neutered pets live longer and have reduced risk of various health problems.

MYTH: My pet will gain weight after being spayed

FACT: Only overeating and lack of exercise cause pets to gain weight. 

MYTH: It is healthier for my pet if I wait until she has had her first heat before spaying

FACT: Spaying before the first heat reduces the chances of her getting mammary gland cancers.

MYTH: My pet’s personality will change after being spayed.

FACT: Spaying does not change your pet’s personality. Pets are spayed while they are still young and developing both mentally and emotionally. Any perceived personality changes are due to your pet maturing and learning, not from being spayed.
