Animals have allergies just like we do, but skin inflammation can be more difficult to detect under a thick coat of fur! If you notice scratching, dandruff, redness, excessive shedding, or anything else that may seem out of the ordinary, call us to book an appointment right away. While skin conditions are usually not a large threat, they can be extremely uncomfortable for your pet and can usually be treated and prevented fairly easily with antibiotics, topical medications, or diet control.
